Each day in 2009, I asked every person with whom I had a meaningful encounter to submit a record of this meeting through an online survey. These reports form the heart of the 2009 Annual Report. From parents to old friends, to people I met for the first time, to my dentist… any time I felt that someone had discerned enough of my personality and activities, they were given a card with a URL and unique number to record their experience. During the race, each runner on the team runs and passes the “Tasuki”, a cloth sash baton, to the next runner. The Tasuki is the symbol of the strong bond and will of the teammates. Ekiden and the passing of the Tasuki resonate with the Japanese people’s mentality of uniting the team’s spirit.
THE IDEA: NIKE TASUKI TWITTER
We set up an official Nike Running Twitter account and kicked it off with a fun Ekiden event. First, we collected cheering tweets and sewed strong and passionate ones onto individual tasukis for each team."

Visvim in Paris | 2010

Visvim is showing his new Collection in Paris's showroom and, unfortunately, is not allowed to take any picture. However, Diane Pernet has been able to get in touch with Hiroki Nakamura and catch some images of the space. More news and an interview are coming in the next days. For the moment check it out here.

Contest | Dazed Decade Drawn Out

We're calling out to illustrators to have a go at drawing ten of Dazed's best covers from the decade.
In the January issue of Dazed, we look back over the last ten years with 100 past Dazed stars giving their thoughts on the decade. Inspired by the fan art that Dazed very often gets, we have decided to 'draw' out this decade with the help of budding illustrators out there. The Dazed editorial team have selected ten of their favourite covers from the past decade, one from each year and we're asking people to illustrate the covers in their own way. Dazed will pick out a winner who will then be commissioned for a piece of work to appear in a future issue of Dazed.

One of the places we'd wanna visit in our life, if we had the chance, would be the room where Luca Benini (Slam Jam's founder) has collected all his Archives and Memorabilia from his 20-year experience in the World StreetWear's Gotha. Sometimes some gem comes out and goes online, usually featured in the I LIKE IT section of the SJ's website. This time it was the UnderCover special Invitation for the Spring/Summer *03 European Campaign: a cool postcard and a couple of melted guitar picks. Nice!
