Quando sono a Londra, non manco mai di visitare la bella mini galleria di Steve Lazarides, su Greek Street, proprio di fronte al negozio del momento, Kokon To Zai. Mentre ero su, è stata allestita la prima "solo exhibition" di Mark Jenkins, un artista che amiamo molto e che abbiamo già postato nei mesi scorsi su UC. Jenkins è balzato agli onori della cronaca grazie alle sue sculture controverse ed inquietanti, installate agli angoli delle strade di città come New York e Washington. Se siete in giro per la capitale in questi giorni, non perdetevela.
While I was in London, I went to the Steve Lazarides's Gallery on Greek Street, SoHo. There I visited the solo exhibition by Mark Jenkins, a Washington DC based artist, known for his disturbing sculptures installed in cities. I personally liked them a lot and I think his work is damn interesting. If you're around London, don't miss to visit it.

Mark Ryden, sicuramente una delle migliori mani in circolazione, ha in corso la sua personale, presso la Galleria di Michael Kohn a Los Angeles. Le opere sono bellissime, sono state vendute nel giro di qualche secondo, e quella che vedete qui sopra, è stata venduta per la bella cifra di 800.000 dollari, come ci confermano i ragazzi di The Hundreds. Mica male...
