FORFEX X PAM=Space BOOtS

In February 2007, we posted a feature about a new footwear brand called YUM YUM. We got impressed by it for a couple of reasons: it was a brand based in Italy, it was fresh and, most of all, it was runned by a talented twentysomething guy with a lot of enthusiasm. Two years later, a lot of changes happened, but in a better way. YUM YUM has evolved and has changed its name. Now the brand is called FORFEX and it is distributed by Slam Jam. In the last year new models have been released, but nothing was like the last one. The SPACE BOOT is something completely new and almost revolutionary in the trainer's world. It is a crossover between a classic "après-ski" shoe and a techical sneaker and it's damn fresh. Made in collaboration with the PAM crazy-duo, they'll be released in three different colorways. We can't wait to receive our pair!!!

ps: For the curiosity corner: There will be three sizes: SMALL(40/41) MEDIUM(42/43) LARGE (44/45).
pps: For the curiosity corner2: There is just one sole for both the shoes, so the right one is the same as the left one. And the pattern of it is the lunar ground.

“A new and innovative by appointment design experience, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is an opportunity to work one-on-one with Nike Designers to customize select Nike footwear styles. Taking individual design to new heights, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is globally exclusive to 21 Mercer and launches November 15, 2008 with the iconic Air Force 1 sneaker.”

Bespoke will have much more customization options than Nike iD and is exclusive to the new 21 Mercer flagship store. The Nike Sportswear Bespoke service launches November 15th".

SECOND SON 2008 FALL/WINTER COLLECTION PT. 1

A couple of weeks ago we posted few pictures of their

Pop Up Store in the wild Brick Lane. Now we present

the 2008 Fall/Winter collection of the London based

Steetwear label SECOND SON titled The Past is So Hot

Right Now.

For this season they've updated their particular local

heritage with a dash of English Humour. Victorian

monograms meet modern logos, traditional Scottish Fairisle

knitting patterns and traditional English bad weather sit

side by side on t-shirts, a heraldic crest boasts high fives

and wolves alongside a motto traslated by a Oxford Uni-

versity Latin Professor (no BS), and brand new designs

are So Last Season.

Shot at two old country manor houses in Norfolk, we see

some nice cameo efforts by Nash Money and Raskitt in a

finely executed lookbook of the upcoming collection. The

first delivery consists of graphic tees and sweatshirts

alongside an updated version of their popular Regular

selvedge denim and the new, slightly slimmer and more

tapered, Stealth jeans.

More cut 'n' sew products will follow later in the season so

be sure to check out the Second Son's list of retailers.

TWELVE W.E.A.T.H.E.R.

Twelve W.E.A.T.H.E.R. is a brand and, most importantly, a new project runned in collaboration between Tu-Glam and a very famous apparel manufacturer. The characteristics that allow Twelve W.E.A.T.H.E.R. to be quite unique in the chaotic world of streetwear are basically two: 1) a continue and obsessive attention to details, fabrics and technologies 2) the fact that each Collection is composed by 12 items, 1 per month.

The first item released in August '08 was an "Environment Tee" made in a soft Egyptian cotton. In September was released the "Soft Field Jacket" made with the same Egyptian cotton of the Tee, but especially treated to be waterproof on the outer. In October the item will be a "Pack Down Vest", in November it'll be a "Heavy Hoodie Sweater" made in the usual Egyptian cotton but much heavier than the Soft Jacket... Last item for the '08, in December, will be the "Earthling Jacket", an huge mix between Egyptian cotton and Cordura completed with an inner pocket where you'll find a Rain Hoodie.

Twelve W.E.A.T.H.E.R. will be distributed in very small quantities. First items were sold out, so don't waste your time, be quick!!!
